Liturgical Ministry

The word "Liturgy" comes from the Greek word leitourgia which means "work of the people".

As a worshiping community we are ALL called to actively participate in our liturgies through song and prayer, silence, and ritual action. Service in one of the liturgical ministries listed on the left is an excellent way to fulfill our baptismal call of service to one another. Whether participation is through "behind the scenes" preparation and planning, or through a public role of service within the mass, parishioner contributions help our liturgies to be truly life-giving celebrations. We always need and welcome new disciples to serve Christ and our parish in this vital ministry! Please prayerfully consider joining one of these ministries.
